Know San Cristóbal de La Laguna

It is located to the northeast of Tenerife, between the massif of Anaga and the mount of the Hope. Located at an altitude of approximately 600 meters, its highest elevation is in Cruz de Taborno, at 1,020 meters above sea level. On its coast, in the north of the municipality, are located the agricultural regions of Tejina and Valle de Guerra, but also the tourist centers of Bajamar and Punta del Hidalgo.

The city of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, declared a Cultural Heritage and World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999, was located in the center of the town. It was the first colonial city without walls that preserves its original layout Of Century XV, that served as model for many colonial cities in America. Its streets, marked by an attractive commercial, gastronomic and leisure activity, are full of monuments and historic buildings.
